Gretchen "Gigi" Castello

Gigi Castello is a part of the Los Angeles Archdiocese Thinker Tank program, which is devoted to bringing “makerspace” projects to K-8 Catholic schools in the Los Angeles Archdiocese. She has a love of art, science and engineering, which has been a large part of career in education. She has been involved in curriculum development and teaching for PS Science, a school dedicated to bringing science to schools in urban Los Angeles. Her faith has guided her to developing “Cards of Hope” (along with Douglas Zuniga), which is an innovative program aimed at providing hand-crafted cards that include prayers and blessings to the isolated served by religious sisters of the Archdiocese. She is always excited to share her faith-based project ideas.
