Over the past few years, the church has made great strides in its welcome of LGBTQ Catholics.  From Pope Francis's support for legal protections for civil unions, to local efforts in parishes around the world. But what's next?

His book "Building a Bridge," looks at how the Catholic church can reach out to LGBTQ people.
